FAQ

Stones & Authenticity

Are your stones genuine and natural? Yes. All stones we sell — Aqeeq (Agate), Feroza (Turquoise), Durr-e-Najaf (Quartz), and Yaqoot (Ruby) — are natural stones sourced from trusted suppliers. We do not sell synthetic, dyed, or resin-filled imitations.

Where are your stones sourced from? Our stones are sourced primarily from Iran, Iraq, and traditional Islamic stone markets. Aqeeq is typically of Yemeni or Iranian origin, Feroza (Turquoise) from Nishapur, Iran, Durr-e-Najaf from the Najaf region of Iraq, and Yaqoot from verified gemstone suppliers.

What is Durr-e-Najaf and is it actually from Najaf? Durr-e-Najaf is a translucent white or pale quartz historically found near the holy city of Najaf, Iraq. It holds deep spiritual significance in Shia tradition. We source through trusted channels and make no exaggerated claims — each stone is described honestly.

How do I know if my Aqeeq is real? Genuine Aqeeq has natural banding patterns visible when held to light. It is cool to the touch and won’t scratch easily. Our Aqeeq is not dyed — colour variations are natural to the stone. If you ever have doubts about a piece you received from us, reach out and we’ll help you verify it.

Do you provide authenticity certificates? Formal gemological certificates are not included with standard orders. However, every stone is honestly described in its listing and carefully inspected before dispatch. For high-value stone queries, contact us before ordering.
